  EastWest Aircraft Sales, Inc., was created by Larry Theno and Jerry Schroer. Our combined experience in the Cessna Caravan market exceeds 40 years and more than 180 Caravans sold as well as numerous other turboprop and jet aircraft. We have developed a reputation of integrity, professionalism, and deep-rooted knowledge of the Caravan and its owners and operators around the world. We sell more Caravans - new and used, domestic and international - than anyone else.

  Larry Theno had a 14-year career with Cessna. He was there when the Caravan was designed and put into production and was a part of the original team that brought the Caravan to market. He was then involved in setting up the marketing efforts of two of the original Caravan Authorized Sales Representatives (ASR) first in the central U.S. and later the northwest U.S. where he also set up an in-house Caravan leasing program. Larry gained extensive international experience in the Caravan as well as other turbo-prop, jet and piston aircraft.

  Jerry Schroer was responsible for initiating and developing the ASR effort in the southeast U.S. In 1991, the Regional Sales Manager for the Caravan, interviewed several companies in the Florida, Georgia, and Alabama area. Jerry wrote and submitted the proposal, which resulted in his company being awarded the ASR for that territory. Through his efforts with the Caravan and other turbo-prop and jet aircraft, Jerry also gained broad experience in domestic and international sales. Prior to entering the aviation industry, Jerry owned and operated an advertising agency in Columbus, Ohio, and Naples, Florida. He continues to apply the experience and expertise gained from his almost twenty years in advertising to the marketing efforts of EWAS.

  Chuck Dirks  Chuck has over 20 years of diverse aviation experience having served in many capacities, including sales & marketing, flight operations and business development.  Most recently, Chuck served in a business development role for Rockwell Collins where he was responsible for developing the product definition and market launch strategy for the company’s successful Next Generation Avionics Program (NGAP) and the emerging Rockwell Collins Information Management (IM) business.  Prior to Collins Chuck was with Cessna Aircraft Company where he served as a Caravan Regional Sales Manager, followed by duties as the Operations Manager for Cessna’s Citation Demonstration Department.  He started his career in aviation as a Commissioned Flight Officer in the United States Army where he flew both rotary and fixed wing aircraft serving in Desert Storm as a helicopter pilot.  Chuck is an experienced ATP rated pilot holding six jet type ratings, as well as helicopter and seaplane ratings. He was educated at the University of North Dakota earning a B.B.A. in Aviation Administration
